In this 26th volume of The Pine Bough magazine, readers can learn about efforts to digitize an extensive collection of county photographs and see some of the progress on the project undertaken by The History Center in cooperation with the Museum of East Texas. Jonathan Gerland introduces his book about Boggy Slough, with around 20 photographs of the conservation area. In the scrapbook section, staff has highlighted many interesting photo collections, including the Pine Bough Restaurant, the Hoo-Hoo Band, the Humason family, the Frazier family of Boykin Settlement, and Judge Gerald Goodwin's scrapbooks, among others.
