Bettie Kennedy, Celia Ann Sippio Boatwright reminisces about growing up as an African American girl in segregated Lufkin and Trinity County. She talks about her work in the church and the girls she mentored there. She also discusses the differences in child raising styles in the past and present days and her opinions on the children of the present day and their discipline problems.
