Veteran’s Day Closure

The History Center will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in observance of Veteran's Day. Regular operating hours will resume on Thursday, November 12.

We would like to thank all of the veterans who have served so selflessly through the years in defense of our freedoms. As part of our mission to collect, preserve, and make available the history of Diboll and Angelina County, it has been our privilege to speak with veterans and their families and to be entrusted with their memories, photographs, and papers. Many of our oral history interviews showcase local veterans and their memories, including Frank Devereaux, John Booker, and Ilene Cornick, among others. Our online collections also include World War I and World War II collections.
