June 1, 2005: The History Center featured a six-panel exhibit in May at the Palestine History Forum, attended by more than 200 participants. The exhibit included about 40 photographs and documents pertaining to the Texas State Railroad and was based on History Center director Jonathan Gerland's book, Steam in the Pines: A History of the Texas State Railroad, published last year.
