Newly added Digital Collections

Nov 16, 2021

The History Center's website is constantly updated with newly processed and digitized collections. Here are four interesting collections that showcase the wide range of topics our collections cover. Teacher and Red Cross worker Ilene Cornick traveled the world during the 1940's and 1950's and her collection is now online here. Diboll's Goins family donated a collection that documents their family from the 1930's to the 1960's and can be found here. School history one of our most popular history topics, and this collection of Diboll school photographs from mostly the 1960's and 1970's documents all ages and activities within the local district and can be found here. And finally, one of the area's oldest communities, Burke, continues to be a source of interest for local researchers. This collection continues to grow as local residents donate their photographs. The Burke photograph collection can be seen here.
