New Collections Open for Research

Oct 04, 2011

The Texas South-Eastern Railroad Company Photographs and Records Collection, the Durham Family Collection, and the Temple Lumber Company Retail Scrapbooks have been processed and are available to researchers. The TSE collection documents the railroads early history and includes papers from 1996, the last year it operated cars over its historic route from Diboll to Lufkin. The Durham Family Collection is primarily a pictorial collection documenting primarily Paul and Jimmie Beth Durham's family, friends, and life in 1950s Diboll. The Temple Lumber Company Retail Scrapbooks provide an excellent pictorial history of Temple's retail lumber yards and yard managers. Please see the Finding Guides section under research to view the collection contents.
