The History Center is pleased to announce that the online exhibit, Fastrill: A Texas Logging Camp, is now available through the exhibits section of our website's homepage. Located on a Neches River bluff in Cherokee County, Fastrill was a Southern Pine Lumber Company logging camp from 1922 to 1941. With an estimated population of approximately 600 persons, Fastrill remains one of Texas' best remembered logging camps.
