Utley, Dan. K. Collection

Dan K. Utley is a prominent Texas historian and oral historian who was born in Lufkin in 1948. After an illustrious career including positions at Baylor University and with the Texas Historical Commission, Dan is now retired. In 2014 and 2021 he donated various items to The History Center related to his life, family, and career. This collection contains photographs of the local area and the Neches River, as well as family records.
