The Lufkin Daylily (Hemerocallis) Society was founded in April 1963, as a local branch of the American Daylily Society. Its purpose was to educate people about daylilies, promote their cultivation and enjoyment, and foster on-going improvements with the flower. This collection contains clippings, clothing, ephemera, photographs, records, and slides covering society activities and events from 1963-2023.
