High School Memories

Introduction

This exhibit consists of fourteen panels with more than 85 photographs and two display cases of small artifacts. It contains class photos and memorabilia of Diboll High School from 1922 to 2000 and of H. G. Temple School, Diboll's segregated school for black students, from the 1940's until full integration in 1968.

Elodie Edwards's Photo Album (1929)

Photo Album Page of Elodie Miles Edwards, ca. 1929. Elodie Miles Edwards graduated from Diboll High School in 1924, obtained her teaching certificate in 1925, and taught the first and second grades at Diboll from 1926 to 1932.
