37 Texas South Eastern Railroad Engine 1, 1963

A photograph of Texas South Eastern Engine 1, Pineland, 1963. Engine 1 was a General Electric 44-ton B-B siderod built in 1947. It was originally a Southland Paper Mills engine. The TSE purchased it in 1956 and used it to switch cars at the Diboll creosoting plant. The TSE donated the engine to the Texas State Railroad in 1972.
