W. T. Carter and Brother Lumber Company derelict locomotives near the engine shop in Camden, Texas. Depicted is engine 3, a Shay locomotive, engine 5, a 4-6-0, and engine 1, a 2-6-0. The lumber company kept old engines for parts. Taken on April 26, 1959. This photograph appears in Mallory Hope Ferrell's book Slow Trains Down South on page 199.
