Minutes of the Angelina County Medical Society, 1920-1936

5 entries

From 1920-1936, the Angelina County Medical Society kept minutes of their meetings in one continuous volume. Included with the minutes are meeting attendees, including doctors, nurses, druggists, and other guests, dues paid to local and state medical societies, names of local doctors and their specialties, and correspondence with lawyers. Meeting minutes include regular society business, papers and articles presented, topics of discussion, and details of difficult or unusual patient cases. The volume was scanned in its entirety. There are several places where it appears pages are missing - in some cases the pages are misnumbered and there are no sheets missing, but in several places it appears a page has been removed. No pages were removed by History Center staff - any pages that may have been removed were removed prior to its donation and there does not appear to be any information missing.
