Diboll Landscape Plan 1976

In 1976, as part of Bi-Centennial celebrations, Ellen Temple and the City of Diboll developed a landscape plan to include planting Live Oak trees throughout the city. These "Liberty Trees" were to be a lasting tribute to the year of celebration and kick start a landscape plan that would beautify Diboll.
