Simpson School Number 54

Simpson Common School District formed in 1920, dividing part of Cordaway Springs No. 30. It was classified as an elementary school in 1930, when part of the district was transferred to the Wells district, in neighboring Cherokee County. The remainder of the Simpson district combined with Central Common School District in 1939.
