In the background are two offices and wind charger tower. During World War II when large crews of laborers were being bunked and fed at the farm because of limited travel due to muddy roads, the office also acted as a small commissary. On the opposite side of the building was a fold-out window where the laborers would line up to purchase candy, cigarettes, razor blades, etc.
