Kitchens, Mildred Collection

This collection consists of photographs and other records related to the life of Diboll native Mildred Griffith Kitchens. Born in 1920 to John C. Griffith and Georgia White Griffith, Mrs. Kitchens graduated from Lufkin High School in 1937 before attended Texas State College for Women (now Texas Woman’s University), where she graduated in 1940. She married Frank Kitchens in 1942. The photographs and records in this collection showcase her life, including the celebration of her 100th birthday in July 2020.
