Penta Cylinder at Southern Pine Lumber Company Treating Plant

A load of poles goes into the long Penta cylinder at SPLCo treating plant. After the pressure treating cycle, these poles will be removed and sent on their way to carry the great transmission lines which ribbon over the nation. Note the omnipresent star and pine tree, the symbol of SPLCo and other Temple industries on the side of the automobile parked at left.
