than 50 cubic feet of manuscript materials.
Highlights include employee payroll
and time books dating from 1907 to
1964 and annual reports to the Railroad
Commission of Texas and the Interstate
Commerce Commission, 1906-1971. Also
within the collection are records
of the Lufkin, Hemphill and Gulf Railroad
from 1917 to 1937.
Angelina County Historical
Commission: approximately 20
cubic feet of Angelina County School
Superintendent’s records from
the late nineteenth century to 1971.
Included are several dozen vintage
photographs of county schools during
the 1920’s.
